Dead give away should’ve been the French, who smoke more than the US, put butter on everything, and didn’t fully ban drinking alcohol at school until the 80’s.
For the students or the teachers? Just kidding, there’s a reason nobody drug tests teachers.

Kids of all ages could drink at school up until the mid 50’s, then it was capped to 14 and up. In the 80’s alcohol was banned from schools entirely, and before that, high school kids and teachers could drink alcohol at school.
