Oh snap, they’re going to be playing in Montana around the same time I’ll be there. Might need to get tickets and extend my trip by a day.

    The test begins now…

Ive seen the Lips twice. Great live show. The first time they came on for the encore with the first song off Dark Side of the Moon.

And then continued playing the entire album. As thier encore. It was awesome.

I think I’ve technically seen them 3 times, but once was as Beck’s band. First time for me though, they were opening for Candlebox right around the time She Don’t Use Jelly hit. MUCH different than Wayne in a bubble shows.

That’s cool. I bet the contrast was different. All I think of when he’s in that bubble is it’s his ego on display. I would have liked to see them before the ego got all encompassing. I don’t mean that in a bad way.

Edit. I wouldn’t have minded seeing them during the “we’re chilling with naked Miley Cyrus” tour.

They’re a band whose work might not always click with me, but it’s always worth hearing because you know they are truly doing whatever the hell they want.

I wonder if I still have that 24 hour song around somewhere…

        I’ve also seen Three6mafia live.
Waited for two hours after start time (not doors, scheduled start). And it was just one guy and all he did was horrible satan prayer shit.

I’ll take a best of show over that trash anyday
