I don’t know shit about politics. All I know is that in the UK the Labour party won, and the Conservative party lost.

I read some protestors are protesting against racism. What is this about? Protesting against new party that just won? I thought the Labour party was left-wing, meaning they are more on the social-equality side? I’m lost.

Weirdos whipped up into a frenzy about “forriners stealing benefits” by farage and his far right party

ed. Asylum seekers in hotels etc have been here for years, well before the new government came in. Its only since labour came into power the far right have decided to be violent. At no point did they ever care, until labour won and farage didn’t get seated. weirdo musko has also been posting a lot of hate speech and bullshit, which foments further anger and violence.

Anecdotally from some article I read, on average the protesters rioters 40+ year old white men who you would find in wetherspoons 6 pints in on a wednesday morning

Would you mind sharing the riots about asylum seekers and whatever else from the last five years? If you have a correction, post it. Dont just leave a useless sarcastic comment.

I am also speaking United Kingdom specifically

          the last five years

Fascist violence has been around in the UK for longer than five years. Where did five years come from?

            An arbitrary date

edit. Im not arguing its not been a problem for a long time. I am just saying the violence ramped up very recently compared to the last five years for an example arbitrary date
