“Twice” a temperature, whether in Celsius or Fahrenheit, is a meaningless measure.
Physics-wise, unless it’s Kelvin, yes.
In terms of perception; it’s pretty clear that they’re talking about having a degree measurement that’s twice the numeric value of one in Fahrenheit.
But that doesn’t tell anyone anything about how far above the threshold we’re talking about. Could be 2 degrees instead of 1. That’s not much. or it could be 60 degrees instead of 30. That seems important.

The article is more clear than the headline.
But the temperatures inside the cargo areas of delivery trucks can reach 150 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer, according to drivers — far exceeding the range of 68 to 77 degrees recommended by the national organization that sets standards for drug handling.
