But then they fired that old goofy guy playing the president and replaced him with his younger, smoother comic relief character. It was something of a reversal, sure, but it got us back into the old 2008 “Hope and Change” arc, which was a much bigger hit among younger viewers.
And its not like they just retired the middle aged bumbling white guy, either. That new Tim Walz character is pure charm and really works against the smarmy wall street guy they’ve brought in as this year’s new villain.
