As useful and needed as these might be, I can only imagine that anyone actually living in one would be constantly harassed by local authorities for parking/zoning violations.

Ideally there’s a way to lock it down from the inside. A bar through the back wheel(s) or something.
But then they might lock you down inside!
You can do this with anything in life, ever, though.
An example being, “A stationary house? But what if the river rises? How will I move my home away from it?”

There’s space in the US west. But, one can’t live in those places without a motor or engine to procure water and food.

But, if one wants to live rent free and with community, I suggest southeastern Utah or anywhere along America’s loneliest road. Be sure to read the vibe: It’s public land. But, it’s still not a good idea to remain where you’re not wanted.
It’s still better than a tent or anything like it i presume. Because if someone is harassing them they can just pedal away.
