The FBI special agent in charge said on a live broadcast a couple of hours ago that it was not terrorism. Maybe she misspoke. Maybe they realized the PR nightmare of that choice. But it is certainly not misinformation
Not really. They might have been hesitant to label it as terrorism to prevent a panic. It’s not uncommon for law enforcement to withold details of an ongoing investigation for such reasons, or to not tip off co-conspirators that they’re on to them.
Shocker that when big, horrendous events happen that it’s all chaos and people not knowing what’s happening for hours and hours afterwards.

The FBI is investigating the deadly New Orleans incident at an “act of terrorism,” the bureau said in a statement.
“This morning, an individual drove a car into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing a number of people and injuring dozens of others,” the FBI said in a statement. “The subject then engaged with local law enforcement and is now deceased. It makes it sound like the cops wouldn’t have done anything if the guy hadn’t brought the fight to them.
Also, unless there has been a recent development, last I heard on the two shot cops was they were in stable condition, not dead.
