Edit 2: 196 IS NOW (partly for now due to federation issues) UNLOCKED https://lemmy.world/post/24481114 but of course under the same moderators even tho many people r insisting that they shouldnt be trusted after all that happened, I’d personally keep using this alternative comm for now

    Tbh, speaking as a dbzer0 resident, if they dislike Ada they would fucking hate div0. I like it here, but he’s kinda been nuts for a while and I’ve been passively looking around at other instances just in case he goes off the deep end one day.

        I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about. It’s just obvious from interacting with him that the power is going to his head. My opinion is that his personality is similar to Dansup in that he’s good at what he does, does not play well with others, but is still capable of self-reflection and understands that surrounding himself with yes-men leads to insane decisions.

        The most recent drama was that a few months back div0 pissed off the Hexbear mods by going onto their boards and being a shit to the tankies. They were debating defederating from us for a bit, but decided that it didn’t make sense to punish users at the bottom for the behavior of one admin. After all, a good chunk of dbzer0 are here because we like having limitable interaction with the folks on hexbear but dont want to surround outselves with social credit score deniers and stalin apologists. div0 is blocked from hexbear now afaik.
