I did see that type of comment once in such a topic. Note that I’m paraphrasing and otherwise putting words in their mouth.

'It’s all western imperialist propaganda. The actual protesters had already peacefully retreated (because it was past their bed time). The only ones who stayed behind were the violent thugs and criminals who attacked people and damaged property. The military was defending the actual citizens and their country. We should be thankful for their service! (God bless Ameri-uh-People’s Republic of China!)"
