    I’m a bisexual gen-x man. For my entire single life I was told that I was just gay and “hadn’t come to terms” with it. Even after marrying a woman, my wife still got shit about how one day I’d realize I am gay and leave.

    I never understood the need to label or pigeonhole everything. Maybe we, all of us, are just people who love. Who we love should be nobody’s business.

      My interpretation of the meme here is that the cat uses gay as an umbrella term similar to queer a lot. I’m sorry about all the shitty biphobia you’ve gone through, though :(

      I’m an xennial demi woman and we didn’t even have the term “demisexual” when you and I were young. Trying to explain to my bigoted mother that I’m not attracted to a meat suit, and can’t define what I’m attracted to, while having a girlfriend was… awful!

      yeah, straight and gay are such restrictive concepts, i have trouble imagining that anyone actually fits them for any other reason than social pressure.

      especially with gender liberation and people looking however they want, gender based atraction is such a weird concept…
