Summary

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth plans to overhaul the military’s Judge Advocate General (JAG) corps to relax rules of engagement and reduce restrictions under the laws of armed conflict.

The move follows his firing of top JAG officers and aims to provide commanders with more expansive legal advice for aggressive tactics.

Hegseth’s personal lawyer, Tim Parlatore, will lead the effort, advocating for a less restrictive interpretation of battlefield rules.

Critics warn this could weaken legal safeguards, but supporters argue it restores a “warrior ethos.”

I mean, dude has a Deus vult tattoo so none of this should be a surprise to anyone. This dude wants a conquest. Hegseth has also said he believes there are “irreconcilable differences between the Left and the Right in America leading to perpetual conflict that cannot be resolved through the political process”. - Source

If you’re a leftist this should be your wakeup call to buy at least one firearm for protection. Our Sec Def wants us killed.

US invasion of foreign countries seems imminent.

If you’re a soldier and you give a shit at all, you’ll defy the orders when they come in. Fighting and dying for this would be pathetic and you should want to be better than that.

They’re planning to invade Panama and Greenland, and quite possibly Canada with the help of Russia from the north. After which, Europe. The US military needs to be prepared to disobey orders from its leaders, who are more loyal to Trump and fascism than to the USA.

War crimes are handled by international tribunals. Dear military officers, only lawful orders are to be followed, anything else could result being in a noose.

If you come for Canada we’ll put you in a noose on a moose. Then we’ll scare the moose.
