I mean it’s true, Chris brings Ben around so they can do a version of Good Cop, Bad Cop. Which kinda didn’t make me like Chris at the beginning.
Before P&R he mostly played dick roles.
I really liked him in Party Down. Does that count or not?

And after. Like in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and The Good Place.
I thought that was a major plot point. He is a jerk because he failed so early in his life, but then Leslie shows him how to let go of the past and live in the present which allows him to open his heart to her.
I thought it was a great story arc for his character.
