You might not be able to check out Mythic Quest’s original series finale.
And there were so many unresolved plotlines that the sudden cancellation meant that Mythic Quest would always feel incomplete.
Well aside - fuck shows that do this. Unless the next season is guaranteed, act like this is the last one, because it probably is. Especially on streaming. If the whole season drops at once, you can’t be warned halfway through making episode 6 that there’s not gonna be an episode 12. People can be interested in more, even invested in it, without leaving them unsatisfied.
This revisionism is a memory-hole band-aid over that kind of writing.
I still have the original on my server, I don’t think the original will ever be lost.

That’s a hell of a misleading title, the creators of the show changed the ending,

Things are mostly the same in that final scene between Poppy and Ian, except after they hug it out, they separate with Poppy saying that she’s going to write down all of Ian’s passwords for him. They switch desks (since hers was all packed up and empty), while Ian cracks a joke about how Pop had sex one time and got pregnant. And their jovial back and forth bantering shall continue indefinitely inside the walls of Mythic Quest! No kiss. No awkward romantic chemistry.
