Dude in my gym just brought it up. Says we can sign a petition and if we get 10% of the population to sign it, the government will make a referendum and we can all vote on it. He doesn’t think Alberta would have to pay back anything like highways, airports, banks and our share of the Canadian debt. Also thinks we can use the USD instead of the CAD which I find funny.
You’d think so but he’s clearly worked up because his team didn’t win the big game so he’s always thinking of ways to prevent him from choosing the wrong team.
Imagine if the Toronto Maple Leafs quit the NHL because they didn’t win the Stanley cup. Who the fuck are they going to play now lol?
