Order follows Pentagon’s announcement to remove 1,000 military members who openly identify as trans
US military commanders will be told to identify troops in their units who are transgender or have gender dysphoria, then send them to get medical checks in order to force them out of the service.
A senior defense official on Thursday laid out what could be a complicated and lengthy new process aimed at fulfilling Donald Trump’s directive to remove transgender service members from the US military despite years of service alongside all the other two million US troops.
Earlier this month, the Pentagon announced plans to remove in short order the 1,000 members of the military who openly identify as trans, and giving those who have yet to so identify openly 30 days to remove themselves.
Honestly why would anyone want to die for a country that doesn’t give a shit about them?
Because they are joining for a job, not to be patriotic. The U.S. military is the largest jobs program in the world. It’s main selling point is to pull people out of poverty.
Nobody I know that joined did it to ‘fight for their country’. They didn’t swallow that bullshit until after getting in and realizing half the morons here will call them a hero for getting dressed in the morning.
“half the morons here will call them a hero for getting dressed in the morning.” That sounds painfully accurate for the area I live.
P.S. Thanks for the genuine response.
You’re wrong. Their country actively wants them dead. They do give a shit, just in the wrong way.
So you are unable to actually answer the question then?
Why are you reacting so aggressively. OP is correct.
Avoiding the question is not answering it so fine I’ll rephrase it “why would you want to die for a country that actively wants you dead?”
Better?
you’re still bringing the energy of an acrid jackass so not really
