I would like to find a way to contribute here. Longtime reader and former build team on the old reddit ship. If light touch moderation and being engaged here is what you are looking for, I’d be willing to mod.

I can help moderate if you need it. I take a hands-off approach and used to moderate some minor subreddits on Reddit prior to the blackout so I’m not inexperienced.

There is not all that much to moderate currently. Really just browsing new and making sure people are on topic and not spamming, and if a report pops up clearing it.
I’ve never moderated before and to be honest I do not have loads of free time but I could help out if needed. I am British so GMT time zone for me

I’m in EDT as well, but I’m starting to work on getting my online presence here in Lemmy after becoming a 2023 Reddit Refugee. Would love to be able to moderate and help out.
