    In between shopping and travelling on the train and doing housework and listening to podcasts and eating I have been reading some papers on cone shells of Victoria. The upshot is they haven’t been properly studied and no one really knows how many species there are. So my reference is still up to date even tho it’s 70 years old. The work just hasn’t been done, too many species and not enough universities or museums to do studies.

    So I took a pic of my reference book with my new shell and took a pic of a small part of my collection of Victorian shells.
