Donald Trump is looking to hire 10,000 officers to help carry out his administration’s widespread detention and deportation of migrants with tens of billions of dollars in funds from his “Big Beautiful Bill.”

Job postings show that in 25 cities from coast to coast, Immigration and Customs Enforcement is hiring deportation officers who will arrest, detain, and deport migrants, and manage migrants’ cases. The listings give insight into where ICE may be ramping up operations.

ICE has already been carrying out broad arrests, including at workplaces and courthouses. Agents have been wearing masks and lacking identifying information as they snatch immigrants, sometimes breaking their car windows to drag them out faster.

This is where a flood of dems need to fill these. Get the money, be incompetent, you probably wouldn’t even be that far off a regular worker. Suck up that hourly

Gum up the works where you can, and document everything you see. Hopefully it’ll be used at trial.

I think they give them quotas to make sure they’re bringing people in. And maybe even lists of names to detain? Like bounty hunters for the federal government.

So you’ll be fired eventually. Or maybe not if they’re still understaffed. It takes quite a while to tell the difference between natural incompetence and sabotage.

No one who could portray their work as intentionally incompetent is at any risk of facing consequences. Even the top agents running up numbers of gardeners and grandmothers probably won’t. Limiting current resistance for a fairly tale of future consequences is not a good trade off.
