You can set them up and then remove them from the network, but that won’t stop them from complaining. Combine that with sluggish UI (or a UI that’s only usable when you wait for the network timeout)
Mine doesn’t do that. All you have to do is not agree to the terms of service agreements. It will still allow you to update the tv and you get zero pop ups. At least this is how it works with LGs. Don’t spread misinformation like that because none of that is true for most high end smart TVs. A cheap Walmart TV probably does that.
But that’s also a smart TV ridden with ads, a sluggish UI and a boot time slower than the average ad break, then ugh
Don’t connect it to the internet. It ain’t that hard bud. I got a 5 year old LG CX and it’s still fast and snappy.
