it’s not like rape victims need to condemn the rape personally for people to collectively agree that rape is bad. i haven’t made up my mind about erotic fan fiction yet because I haven’t thought about it before (well it does say weird things about the author and reader) but your logic is a bit broken

erotic fanfic is obviously far from being as bad as rape, but it’s still usually non-consensual; it’s much more comparable to porn deepfakes imo

and even if you haven’t heard of something (and let’s be very fucking clear, taylor swift is one of the most famous artists there are, she uses the internet, she has a tumblr, she’s definitely heard of erotic fanfics), it’s still non-consensual

According to your logic, it would be comparable to rape

no, i compared it to deepfakes. stop putting words in my mouth.

What matters is the practical effect of your actions

exactly, hence why there’s nothing wrong with imagining someone naked (or masturbating to someone, for that matter), but there is something wrong with writing erotica about real people. even if the subject doesn’t see it, other people will, it’s still non-consensual sexualisation.

it’s far from rape, but its still creepy and wrong.

Who has written a erotic novel about you?

damn sorry for using a common turn of phrase to express empathy, even if the words I use are non-literal. next time I’ll keep bad faith dipshits like you in mind.

and yes, it’s also wrong to write non-consensual erotica about men. I called you a misogynist because the first thing you did upon disagreeing with a woman was to condescendingly call her (me) over-emotional. a common misogynistic trope.

she’s still a real person. and it’s not like people don’t do this to famous women who aren’t billionaires

yea you can truly feel the seething rage dripping from every orifice of this comment. in fact, as I wrote this the toxic tears falling down my cheeks acidified the soil, ruining its fertility potential for centuries to come. you tell me to touch grass, but alas, as a result of my overdriven ovarian emotional state all vegetation in a 10 kilometer radius has been utterly obliterated. c’est la vie.
