Here on Russell Island we have had notification from the Rural Fire Service ( bless those volunteers ) that there’s a strong wind warning and high Fire danger. Due to this my bonfire will not happen. However I’m not cancelling and will just have a party.
It’s a bit of a mood killer. But hopefully it will still be a fun evening. Cheers.

Enjoy the party! Wind has definitely been absolutely crazy today even inland. Can’t imagine what it’s like out on the bay.

The party was a pooper…
There were only a handful of us but we still had good food and good company. We went to a dear friend and neighbours house. It was ridiculously windy.

It’s fair blowy today, I definitely wouldn’t recommend a fire.
Actually surprised we didn’t lose any tree branches, they were halfway bent to the ground
Yeah a friend sent me a message from the local Fire warden that had been posted. High Fire danger so no fire.
