Unpopular Opinion@lemmy.world•Despite relative swings in quality between them, the original six Resident Evil movies are a crap-ton of fun.English
3·3 days agoThey are fun. I think most people just didn’t like how they differed from the games. I was never into the games that much so I don’t care how they differ.

Yea, it’s not perfect. Just letting you know what’s built-in.
Should try uninstalling a shitty app.
On Android you can set Do Not Disturb mode to allow calls from your favorites. That’s what I do because when I’m sleeping I don’t want texts to come through but if an emergency comes up I want to be reachable.

PC Master Race@lemmy.world•RTX 5090 power connector melts again as cable reaches nearly 200 degrees CelsiusEnglish
2·6 days agoBut it’s supposed to be across like 6 pins or something. That’s only 100w a pin. When working properly, there shouldn’t be a problem. All these meltdowns seem to happen when something has gone wrong.

The connector certainly doesn’t help, but if a single point of failure causes this, it’s not JUST the connector. Allowing that much power to be able to run through a single pin is problematic. Houses have multiple forms of protection for outlets. This whole setup seems to have none.
