I’m in that transition period right now. Where I’m fully realizing the weight of how fast time has flown and how much I’m aging but yet I’ve still (theoretically) have a semi decent amount ahead of me. Every year the song hits a bit harder.

It’s funny because I know the username for them calling our a reposted on a few communities like mildly interesting.

We call it a twice baked potato where I live. If you don’t like baked potatoes you might like twice baked. Usually scooping the inside out like the other commenter said, mixing it with one or more types of dairy (sour cream is my go to), and spices and topping it with cheese and/or Bacon and putting it back in the oven for a bit longer.

That being said, I personally love regular baked potatoes too. It’s funny how humans are all so different.

I spent 6 hours prepping yesterday to bake at the wrong temp and ruin it. To day I’m jealous is an under statement lol.

I spent 6 hours getting mine ready yesterday to bake it at the wrong temp. I feel you. Mine was not salvageable but, easier clean up than yours.

Failure or, learning point? Either way, hope it wasn’t too bad to clean up

I’ve lost my old man three times this week. First two he was just hanging out behind the curtain. Third time I’m like, I’m going to check behind the curtain! Nope. He was under a desk on top of the air vent. That’s how I knew the heat had kicked on.

Nah, you’re just over reacting and emotional. It’s just a flesh wound. I don’t know why you would get so worked up about this!

For me:

• Remember being different isn’t bad, it’s just different
• Time and space to have feelings
• Time and space to decompress
• One or two good people to remind me when I’m obsessing or being unreasonable
• Good supportive friends
• A lot of alone time
• Reminders to socialize

Sorry to the rest of the Midwest but for me it’s Minnesota, Wisconsin, half of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and like 1/4 of Ohio. The rest doesn’t Midwest hard enough lol
