You could always install AOSP-based ROMs (LineageOS, /e/, etc.) on those non-Google Android phones. Google doesn’t really make any money from those (if you avoid Gapps).
If you want to avoid Android and iOS altogether, you’re going to be disappointed with Motorola as well, because they’ll keep using Android (which, just like the other ROMs, GrapheneOS is based on), leaving you with basically just Linux-based operating systems like postmarketOS, Ubuntu Touch or Sailfish OS.

For all intents and purposes, none is more serious than the other, there’s no practical difference. And if they wanted to take a closer look, they could have done that before approving the ETA. Doing this right now is a politically motivated action, not because of actual public safety concerns or whatever. It also doesn’t help that it was revoked days before the scheduled visit, as a visa application won’t be approved in time.

Then you’re either not using the native wayland driver, or you’re running apps that don’t use cross-process rendering. Try Ubisoft Connect or Jagex Launcher. Ubisoft Connect just displays a tiny window with nothing in it, but is probably supposed to show an error message, and Jagex launcher just shows a black screen, according to this comment.
So unless you use a wine version patched to include the cross-process rendering code that was apparently already developed by Collabora (which I think is located here), you’re not gonna get these apps to work.
