Sure. But that does not make it unethical.
That is a stupid question
Raise healthy, emphatic and intelligent kids.
If I manage that, everything else can go to hell, and I would still be happy and content in life.
I want to feel like what I do matters, otherwise I become frustrated and feel bad. My basic drive for curiosity is very strong, and I need to learn new things and do something that has some sort of meaning.
Being paid to do nothing is soo frustrating, I feel like I am wasting what little time I have here on earth.
What if it is Sunday? Does this Saturday refer to yesterday?
I have an app where I register when I take my meds, and which meds.
I make sure to absolutely always tap the app while taking the meds. No taking meds and then going to find the phone, or tapping the app and then take the meds. Always do it simoultaniously.
With that rule in place, I know that I can 100% trust the app in telling me if I have taken them or not.
This works really great for me.
That is a very interesting research area.
Several countries have this, across device types. It works great.
I am not actually sure about that. I have done some ad campains on facebook, and with the price I see per. impression, if the average users sees 1000 ads or promotee posts a month, the the price is about right.
That is 33⅓ ads or sponsored posts the user will scroll past every day, I don’t think that is unrealistic.
What he means is, your security considerations here must come from some perceived threat. What kind of threat do you forsee that requires this high level of security?
Usually when you consider security you start with a threat model, describing the scenarios you want to protect your systems from. And based on that you decide the necessary technical security measures that are relevant.
This is one of the most interesting and fundemental discussions happening. Meta absolutely depends on being able to deliver targted ads towards users, it is a must for that business model.
So in the end it seems fair to ask users either to pay for the service costs, or accept the directed advertising.
What is even more interesting is what other ways this could work? How can a platform - in general, not just meta - provide a “free” service, without monetizing it with targeted advertising?
Are we going to have to get all users to pay for every little service we use? Are we willing to do that to avoid advertising? To avoiding targeting?
This outcome of this will be a lot more important than most people realise.
It is time to rename the company. OpenAI is not open anymore, and has not been for a while now.
I love flavours of weird.
Maybe because most mammals don’t menstruate. Only humans and a few others do, like bats and some apes.
Another option to decrease spending is to increase taxes. That would of cause target the rich more, whereas increasing the interest rates is usually a benefit for the rich and hurts everyone else.
No wonder why increasing taxes instead of interest rates are never discussed to tackle inflation.
I believe that is very very far from true. Do you have any source on that?
This is not a diagnosis test. You do not have ADHD just because this described you. However if you have ADHD there is a high likelihood that this describes you.
