Same here. But sadly too many people were swayed by the populist parties and their ‘this one trick will fix everything’ rhetoric.

That’s one of the busiest intersections in Utrecht, especially in the weekend with buses, cyclists, pedestrians and some cars. It’s pretty easy to navigate too
At least they’ve got furry balls coming towards them
Probably, but he has dialed his rhetoric down a bit in an effort to seem more reasonable and stay in the talks to form a coalition. But I don’t trust it one bit, if he had enough right-wing support, he would still spout the same bullshit. Luckily our democracy is well designed enough that he can’t just tear it down, even if he had a majority.
Long. Printers are pretty complicated machines, because they have to work with a natural product that shrinks, expands, folds, rolls itself up and sticks to other pieces of paper. I once heard a printer engineer explain that they use small puffs of air to lift the paper, but because there’s also heat involved in the printing process that the paper sometimes rolls itself up or expands which causes jams etc. And I’m sure there’s more going on.
Which isn’t to say that HP aren’t bastards.
Oh yeah, a good sandwich can make my day
Yeah, cold sandwiches were probably the first as well. Then maybe boiled eggs, scrambled eggs were not really a thing in the Netherlands back then. After that I helped out with other stuff like boil rice of pasta. And I remember doing some simple groceries alone when I must have been between 11 or 12. But the supermarkets were only 10 minutes away by foot.
I live in the Netherlands and I learned to make my own lunch from an early age. Can’t say for certain at which age, but 6 or 7 sounds about right. I made lasagna when I was 11 and cooked other stuff regularly. My parents always stimulated me being self sufficient. And I saw the same happening with my friends.
Dude is a terrible shaver
I’m on a Fairphone 4 with e/os, maybe it’s just not quick enough
That’s what he said
I tried using Magic Earth and especially the driving mode is great and sometimes it worked flawlessly but I regularly had freezes and crashes. Do you have any issues with it?
Luck and timing are big factors. There are many talented artists out there that work hard and make the kind of music that (in theory) should appeal to a large audience but never make it. Either at all or not to the level of Taylor Swift. If you make the right music at the right time, your chances increase but you still need luck.
Edit: what I’ve heard of Taylor is that she’s very good in making the right music at the right time. The songs fit the trends in music. But I’ve never listened much to her, so I don’t know for sure if its correct
People also should be able to pay the artist directly and not some billion dollar company who continue to try to squeeze the artists and limit creativeness all in servitude to the almighty dollar (or any other currency)
Quite interesting to see them trying to live without a car in a society where cars are such a necessity. I live in the Netherlands and many of my friends don’t have a license or own a car, but over here the infrastructure is build around accessibility for people without a car. For example, I live in a small town and I can hop on my bike and reach 5 supermarkets within 15 minutes. But it’s interesting to see people trying out different modes of transportation where it’s not so easy.
I have the Fairphone 4 and I’ve been very happy with it. It’s not as fast as the top models, but I have no use for a fast phone and every app I need works perfectly. It’s been such a relief knowing I don’t have to buy a new phone because the battery or the port died. And I tend to drop my phone regularly, so it’s great that I can switch out the screen. I’ll definitively buy another Fairphone when the time comes.
Yeah thats true. In Bethesda’s dictionary exploration means: find minerals, 7 life forms and 3 unique geological formations. And by unique we mean like on the other planets.
It also bugs me that Bethesda keeps saying that the game is about exploration and finding new planets, but so far every planet I’ve visited has some kind of building upon it. Its clear that people have been on this planet before, so why the hell should I explore this planet? At least give me some incentive or a better reward for finding a true empty planet.
Why?
