Lmao, I really should have read your comments before writing mine.
They/them

How To Say Your Favourite Colour And Not Embarrass Yourself This is the funniest and most relatable rant I’ve come across in a while, it probably won’t hit as hard if you’re not a neurotic overthinker though.
Adventures In State Space This is an incredibly well edited video talking about a very interesting maths thing. You don’t have to know why/how the math thing works to enjoy the video. He has other good ones too like where he fucks with a Mandelbrot/Julia set.
Space Station Weird is a bunch of short animations set in the distant future on a very weird space station.
WatchDust is the main page for a channel with a curated selection of independently made short scifi films. Many are really good.
Soggy Rock Facts To Dazzle Your Enemies This is Sage The Bad Naturalist’s channel and she’s a very smart and interesting person who talks about science.
PTSD? Yeah, I have it.
I’ve not played the game. It seems like they covered this pretty accurately though if I picked up on the implication from your reference.
Who is telling you this stuff? Is this a gbbies thing? You know they’re not a real new channel, right?
I love these sorts of articles. There’s something so cosy about getting this sort of slice of life almost glimpse into the cultural history of an everyday item.
I don’t know about anyone else but Polanksi’s part in smearing Corbyn as an antisemite, is a big zionist coloured flag that I’m personally not willing to overlook.
This hasn’t happened. What has happened however, is the IOF using Palestinian children as human shields. They do this a lot.
Every accusation from a zionist is a confession.
Lol
Lmao, did you really just ask someone why they won’t kill themselves if they don’t want to have children?
And you think you respect life. What irony.
So wtf you still doing here if so miserable and zero hope?
What do you think it means when you say this?
Maybe I’m dramatic, but the other day I thought that’s not unlikely that a “western” country will experience a famine in the next 50 years.
Drought and famine are coming for everyone in the next 50 years.
Global freshwater demand will exceed supply 40% by 2030, experts warn
Lmao, did you really just tell someone to kill themselves because they don’t want to have children?
And you think you respect life. What irony.
Will you be telling your kids this? That you created them as a sacrifice for a chance at making life better for other people?
It’s right to be alarmed about climate change, there will be serious long-term impacts, but it seems irrational to be completely fatalistic.
Ok, what about when you also factor in resource depletion? Is it right to be fatalistic yet?
Because from where I’m standing, it doesn’t look like there’s much of a future for anything on this planet when Global freshwater demand will exceed supply 40% by 2030, experts warn and 90 per cent of Earth’s topsoil is at risk of depletion by 2050.
How will the billions of children born in this decade, survive in an increasingly polluted and hot future, with no fresh water or arable land?
You’d want an industrial meat grinder like what they make dog food out of.
I don’t know how well it will hold up but the book Wilt by Tom Sharp covered this in, what I recall being, quite hilarious detail.
Caveat: This book is from the 70’s and a product of its time. While I recall enjoying it when I picked it up (decades later) as a teenager, a comedy about a depressed man who hates his wife and regularly fantasises about killing her, just sounds like misogynistic bullshit to me now, no matter how funny it is. But maybe it holds up somehow, idk.
9, I just woke up and am still waiting on my pills and caffeine to kick in.
I feel seen. I use my larger jars to keep my pantry mouse and moth free, and I store dry pulses and grains in them. Smaller jars I use for air tight storage for spices, and also for mixing and storing paint when I art.
This will be included in Alecto The Ninth, mark my words.
