My mate is selling this so I’m getting it for my birthday next month.

Plays like an absolute beast and can drop down to F#. Which is crazy for a 6 string!

What a shmexy guitar. Reminds me of a Stormtrooper! (Those two sentences are mutually exclusive)

I’ve never seen a guitar this colour before and in real life, it looks incredible!

I mean maybe some people think storntroopers are sexy? (not me lol)

lol time well spent. Took an angle grinder, orbital sander and heat gun to a random bit of wood to hold a pen, feather, post its and some elastic bands / tape on rebar. That took weeks. Still have all my fingers.

    I’m going to patent it.

You need to market it for crafters. Instead of post-it notes that’s a pattern holder. The rebar on the side can hold your ball of yarn, with the hole on the top for spare crochet hooks etc. Add an optional wine glass holder upgrade and you’ll make a mint.

Had a great time with my mate hanging out geeking out over guitars and music. We’ve known each other since high school but lost contact until a few months ago.

As for the rest of the day. Strays have been fed as well as fluffball. Might just zonk and enjoy the last of the time I’m not stressed about work stuff lol

Been a bit flat this weekend but have managed to put away most of Mt washmore…start a new load to dry by the window. Bought food, cooked rice and now have lentils going for part of my meal prepping. Cleaned the bathroom sink. I would say there is 16.7% less KAOS then at the start of the weekend.

About to get a coffee and catch up on some work. Have a big report due this week and really want some time today to break it’s back. I will try really hard to take time in lieu for it though…

I’m feeling rich today - my first travel reimbursement claim has been paid. I was initially given the wrong info from a manager who said they didn’t pay travel costs, but they actually do. Which means that what was a cost item in my budget is now replaced by extra income. It’s like an unexpected payrise.

Say you’re stuck in an elevator and the rescuers are 1 hour away but you get to choose between 2 bands playing music through the speakers. You DO NOT have noise cancelling headphones with you. Who are you choosing? Oasis or Coldplay?

It depends on what it is for. If you are meeting someone you should generally give a specific time (and stick to it) to avoid wasting each other’s time. The only time a range like that is appropriate is if you are dropping around to someone’s house or doing an activity where you will catch up with each other but where seeing each other is not the reason for meeting.

Nope. Agree with Raven - if I am popping round someones house or maybe meeting at the beach or somewhere casual they will be at anyway then it might be a range and I text when I am on my way/know firmly. But meeting somewhere I give a time. And also usually update when I am on the way . It’s just polite. I always figure 10 mins either side is reasonable wobble room.

so I’ve got some pairs of hiking sandals and was thinking of wearing them to the beach because I walk on rough ground and also walk on and jump across rocks

should I be wearing sock type things to keep sand out?

No because sand is nature’s glitter and it will still get inside the socks. It’ll be easier when you get home to brush your feet and sandals clean.
