A New Jersey woman who was found bound with zip ties in the woods and marked with a derogatory phrase referencing President Donald Trump is now accused of staging the attack.

Natalie Greene, 26, is charged with conspiracy to convey false statements and hoaxes and making false statements to federal law enforcement.

According to court documents, Greene and a co-conspirator called 911 late July 23 and claimed that three men had attacked them on a trail at the Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve. The co-conspirator told dispatchers the men referenced Greene by name and mentioned her job in politics. According to reports, Greene previously worked for a Republican congressman.

This one is super weird though. Why in the world would anyone hog tie someone like that and then write shit about trump on her? I’m guessing she’s another alcoholic for trump. Regardless, she’s in for a ride:

Each count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Many MAGAts that face social consequences for their MAGAtism cry victim and and then circled with attention and monetary support by other MAGAts. Since they aren’t actually victims and they want the attention, they manufacture the victim status.

Sadly this isn’t confined to MAGAts. Actor Jussie Smollett did the same thing attempting to manufacture victimhood of a hate crime. What really angers me about Smollett is that there are real victims of race based hate crimes and his antics cast doubt on those other real victim’s situations.

It’s not as weird once you realize that they need everyone to be as crazy and stupid as they are. They can’t stand a world where that’s not true.

Edit: This was federal charges being brought, 2 counts. See comment below for further details on the absolute insanity of these shenanigans.

Doesn’t apply to state. The governor would need to do that, and neither the current nor the next is going to be interested in that.

Yup you are right, in another article (much earlier) they mentioned charges by the state, but this one calls out the DOJ specifically.

The other article was crap, apparently.

Not only did she call 911, she reached out to and told the FBI she had been receiving threatening messages. As it turns out, the messages they did find were with a scarification artist (I didnt know that was a thing) in PA, along with a copy of the receipt for about $500 in work she had done just prior to the “event”. Along with a reddit account where she followed scarification and body mod subreddits. The scarification artist performed the work based on a design she provided.

So the charges came through the US AG for NJ, not the NJ AG per the other shitty article.

The original investigation was by township, county, and state officials, and I guess with her claims that brought on FBI involvement as well.
