The image looks fucking … idk how to describe … looks fucking awful. I can’t manage to translate the text. Something about it seems to evade OCR.

Can anyone provide a literal translation of the words?

And any cultural nuance about the plates of matza, walnuts and flowers? Is it an ironic juxtaposition of traditional, wholesome holiday imagery with ultraviolence for the purposes of “humor”?

I’m able to translate the second to bottom section

to something that makes sense:

But the main section, on the scroll, this is the best I can manage to OCR it:

A lot of the dots under the charecters got washed out, I don’t know what they are for, but trying to OCR the image as-is was totally unproductive.

The most comprehensible translation I can get is this:

    You left out the last sentence in the end

    I had such trouble trying to get it to read the whole text. This was the best I got - highlighted is what’s recognized:

        thanks! Is it written in a way that makes machine-deciphering especially difficult? due to requiring cultural context to understand the format, or the font or something which seem sot baffle my OCR tools.

          Yeah the font is hard for OCR to read, i’ll transcribe it first then translate it.

          There were many typos in the OCR which may have been why it was so hard to read.

          My rough translation so far, is:

          If we had passed the gun control reform but not opened 1,000 emergency response units, it would have sufficed.

          If we had opened 1,000 emergency response units but not tightened prison conditions for terrorists to the minimum. it would have sufficed.

          If we had tightened prison conditions for terrorists to the minimum but failed to pass the death penalty law for terrorists. it would have sufficed.
