“Also it doesn’t even make sense! Just cuz you upload your consciousness to a robotic facsimile of a beaver doesn’t mean you could communicate with them like you would a human. Beavers don’t have full sapience or any concept of complex language. Also why can she talk with OTHER animals now? Why would a worm speak the same language as a beaver?”
“Do you do this with every movie?”

I’m not opposed to talking to beavers with the tech.
But the team of scientists who created it seem only interested in the zoological applications when it like, this tech has implications for all of society.
I am opposed to Americans doing anything with tech other than chat to beavers.
Knowing them they’d probably come up with a way for using that for evil.
