Granted I really know next to nothing about the sengoku wars outside of old boy Nobunaga, and my reference into the han dynasty china is the video games
Star Wars was heavily inspired by Kurosawa films so that tracks
I was gonna say, George Lucas talks a lot about how old Samurai movies influenced his creation of Star Wars. I recently watched the Samurai Trilogy and I can see a lot of parallels between Luke and Mushashi Miyamoto. It’s not a carbon copy like Yojimbo/Fist Full of Dollars, but the inspiration is apparent.

What does that make Andor? Night and Fog in Japan (1960)?
I’ve seen parallels drawn between medieval Japan and ancient Greece.
The only parallels I see is the widespread legitimised piracy we all pretend didn’t happen and being so misogynist you get a little gay with it.
(cw: CSA) yeah, the parallel of molesting boys
Pre Imperial China is Berserk
Post Imperial China is also Berserk but interspersed with Slice of Life Manga
I probably need to get high to understand this tbh but okay, I guess that make sense?
So what, the Ikko Ikki are the ewoks?
korean BCE history is like Battlestar Galactica.
Life is like vibeo gane
lucas himself said that the ewoks were the vietnamese and the jedi/sith are a clear copy/paste of samurai so maybe it’s closer to say that star wars is pan-asian.
star trek is about fully automated gay space communism that comes as a result of globalism, it’s clearly western in all aspects. lol
