As someone with some profound ADHD that has affected my career, I have to say, I would be fucking amazing in the Star Trek universe. For someone with an interest-based focus ability, a society where the standard of social merit is, “do cool shit you’re passionate about,” would be Heaven. I can do things. I can do amazing things. When I’m passionate about something, I can move mountains. But stick me in a cubicle and ask me to do the same grind day in, day out? I really struggle. Some people say they would just disappear forever into the Holodeck. But for me, the coolest thing about the Star Trek universe is that regular people can simply do whatever they’re most passionate about, without concern for monetary profit.
Can’t imagine what specific passion you might have. Unforeseeable, that.
Easy. A post-scarcity world sounds amazing. Never have to really worry about the necessities, just explore whatever art or joy you have.

Futurama. People go to the moon for donuts, there are fast food joints even in the furthest reaches of space, you can go any part of the world in less than a second, most, keyword MOST, robots cater to your needs, you can live literally anywhere, and silly, adventurous stuff happen all the time.

Who needs a kiln in the Pokemon world when the finished pots can be placed in a pit for a cute little fire lizard to use his Flamethrower attack to fire them instead? As many Jeremy Bearimy’s as i want to explore reality, and live inifinite lives… and then an exit when I’m ready to leave? Sure!
There’s a million fantasy worlds i’d love to visit, but few i’d want to spend my life in.
Zelazny’s Amber. You recomend?
Hell yeah, give it a go. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you like it you tend to love it. It’s a product of the 70s, and Zelazny has a particular prose, economical, broad brush strokes that leaves the reader to fill in the details with imagination, each reading unique.
Some dislike the second quintology. I think it’s not as good as the first and faded, along with the author’s life, at the end, but I liked it and bad Zelazny is IMO better than most out there. G.R.R. Martin and Neil Gaiman (yeah, I know, dick, but competent writer) both cite him as a major influence, and he has all the Hugos etc.
If you want to try something else by him first, A Night in Lonesome October is special, one chapter a day. I (most years) and others start on Oct 1 and read a chapter a day, does not disappoint.
This is going to sound silly but Kushiel’s Dart. I just want to see a world with absolutely no sexually transmitted diseases and a reverence for all sorts of sex.

This is the one. A post scarcity society where you can do just about anything you want as long as you have a certain minimum proficiency. Plus, almost all the life threatening shenanigans happen way out in space far enough away it’s just part of the background news.
The Culture

Very few of them, which annoys me. 90% of fictional universes are dystopian, on the edge of collapse, and only savable by a smaller group.
The Trails games kind of stood out for having a world that’s usually on pace, and isn’t even aware of whatever sinister plot your detectives/adventurers are looking into.

If we assume I’m not one of the main characters but by living in the world it follows basically the same rules as them. Then zero question Phineas and Ferb.
I see so many people saying Star Trek but there are so many wars and other major issues in that world. In P&F the worst evil people in the world are part of LOVE MUFFIN and able to be completely handled and even often rehabilitated by animal agents.
Okay but the entire world is teetering on a razor’s edge. If the Mysterious Force ever stops hiding the boys’ inventions from Linda, the world’s parents will outlaw fun and Doof will take over the world.
I believe there’s a late series crossover with Marvel that could have some sub-optimal ramifications to living in the Phineas and Ferb universe. Otherwise, I’d absolutely want to live in a world where the most evil thing someone can cook up is “Big Laundry”.

Yep I’m aware of the crossovers but even then the Phineas and Ferb effect seems to make up for it just fine. Even the Milo Murphy crossover included… Probably just choose not to live near his family although it would keep life interesting and I assume property prices are basically free there.
