Zelensky posted warm thanks to Israel’s president for Independence Day wishes. He said Ukraine-Israel ties will grow and prayed for peace. Meanwhile, Israel bombs Gaza and occupies Palestine. Russia does same in Ukraine. Ukraine supports Israel, but Israel is just like Russia. Selective outrage is not okay. If you cry about invasion, dont support another invader.

They’re also allied with the USA, who are also attacking countries as they see fit. I’d assume by default that Ukraine just allies with whoever is willing and able to support them materially, and IDK if I should fault them for that while they’re in the middle of fighting against an invasion. Then again, Zelenskyy is Jewish and as such probably pro-Israel like most Jews …

Question is, if invading a different country was really the point you are trying to make.

Kursk is a Russian state. Are you really faulting Ukraine for pushing north over the border in an area that wasn’t as heavily protected, while they were getting overran to the east.

Well, one side is invading a sovereign country with the stated goal of annexing it and displacing the population.

The other side is being invaded and suffering a genocide by a vastly larger country, and are desperately trying to get whatever help they can.

So no, it doesn’t raise that question at all. Or at least, not among people with more than 2 braincells.

Fucks given = 0. The guy’s capable of going to Washington to get humiliated in front of the entire world by the carrot cunt and its oversized VP baby. Does he even have a choice in the matter of supporting Isnotreal? Can he even make a difference? Can his tweets change the Palestinian situation? Nope. He can just fawn over other cunts, probably hoping for money or something.

Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows

The Ukrainians are doing what everyone thought was impossible. As long as they don’t do warcrimes I’ve got no notes.

Wildberries is not a warcrime, it’s a hybrid military supply chain. Same with gasoline.

While the Ukrainian Left is, from all I know, a stark supporter of Palestine.

Ukraine is hitting infrastructure that helps the Russian army. This is war, and sometimes they hit the wrong targets, but Russia is deliberately hitting cultural places and civilian infrastructure.

Putin claims, that Ukraine is not a valid state - and (like all revanchists do) he presents some “historic data” to rewrite and “fix history”. When attacking Ukraine, putin’s Russia also calls the attacks as “setting the territory free”. Putin also VERY broadly uses other terms like “nazi” (“neonazi”). How convenient!

In the Palestine-Israel war there are equal revanchist claims to rewrite and “fix” history, as well as demands about another state not being “real” or “valid”. Out of the two sides, it’s the single one resembling putin’s revanchists and using the same rethorics to set the territories “free”. And not tolerating the other one to even exist.

That’s an unpleasant pill to swallow, i know. It has never been. Hence, the war.(

Pro-russian ignore the reality that Ukraine has Jewish president. That is not Nazi. The ‘denazify’ excuse ignores that the USSR killed 27 million — the same scale as the Nazis. Russia is not fighting Nazis, just invading. And they know it very well.

Why would that be his goal?

Do people really believe Putin’s just wants to kill as many people and destroy as much stuff as possible?

Obviously he is interested in human capital, i.e. russian speaking Ukrainians, and resources of Ukraine, i.e. coal, iron, farmlands, rare minerals and so on.

Complete destruction would be just plain stupid.

Putin needs minerals and ship routes, but most of all Ukraine means food. He thinks he needs these things to survive the new world order and he also thinks he’s the new Peter the great. He’s certifiably insane.

Obviously he is interested in human capital

Why is that obvious? These are means to an end: annexing Ukraine to extend his country for him to be called Putin the great in history books and when that became unattainable to grab as much territory and resources as possible and when this is unattainable scorch as much of it as possible. We see similar shifting goal strategy in the Iran war. Seems common for autocrats to display petulance. Your claim somewhat presupposes that Putin is at all concerned for the wellbeing and prosperity of his people and country and I see no evidence of that at all.

Addendum edit: If you follow the Putin leaning media and keep track of the villages and towns that have been “liberated” by the Russians it is worth while to see how that settlement looks following the Russian treatment and those look not unlike Gaza. Both Netanyahu and Putin use violence and destruction as a mean to will other people to give up their land for them. It’s just that Ukraine is so much larger than Gaza (and other surrounded territories not yet part of Israel). What I find heartbreaking is not the support Ukraine is getting from other countries and the condemnation of Putins actions but the lack of accountabilities vis-a-vis the war crimes committed by Israel.

They’re literally targeting civilians every day. I don’t know if you’ve been to Russia or know many Russians but there are a fuck ton of fearless psychopaths up there. They are doing the exact same shit the iof is doing, with glee and malice, because that’s how your mind breaks when you’re country forces you into a meat grinder. They take it out on women, kids, babies, anyone. Don’t believe me? See how they’ve behaved previously, like in Chechnya.
