We could probably change it on Wikipedia if it’s worded as “otherwise known as Pedo-Lago.” It’s not wrong if we’re actually referring to it that way.

Isn’t New Mexico with the Zorro Ranch? He’s trying to wash himself of accountability. Fucking disgusting. Dude is going to have a real hard time convincing Jesus.

This has been fascinating and all, and I’m glad that psychology is having a big moment and whatever, but like, I’m kind of over this whole… “watch the narcissist slowly deteriorate” thing

I’m ready for the “post-mortem on this guy’s career” phase where we all collectively wander around in a daze for a while

He always does this bizarre renaming shit for a reason. It’s never random.

And while I’m open to hearing other reasons New Mexico in particular has raised his ire, I’m pretty sure this has to do with the Epstein files, and the New Mexico lawsuit taking place that alleges Todd Blanche’s DoJ is stonewalling NM’s attorney general from getting unredacted records that will allow New Mexico to thoroughly investigate Epstein’s ranch there, where Epstein’s acts against minors are known to have occurred.

New Mexico isn’t backing down. At the same time, Thomas Massie is forcing a discharge petition on passing EFTA II, which specifically gives states and state attorneys general legal right to access the completely unredacted records. The walls on his sexual crimes against children are closing in.

So he thinks this name change will shame them into submission, because it’s what would shame him. Dumb ass. Didn’t work for me; I just think he’s a freak that liked to rape and possibly kill children with his good buddy Epstein.

A lot of it has been proven to be associated with the online betting industry. People have been placing bets on real geopolitical events and making fortunes. We know for a fact that at least one is associated with trump org or high in the regime.

The rich are like the freakish rich people in the movie rat race except they are making money off of our real world deaths and illnesses as well

But it is so dumb. They can bet on something and then do it. Like the one guy who bet he wouldn’t show up at something and then didn’t go. He was a celebrity or politician.

Looking from the outside and reflecting a bit, it sounds so weird and lowkey racist that so many people are focusing so much on the epstein files. There’s literally an ongoing genocide where bombs sent on trump’s order have killed tens of thousands of children and brutally maimed tens of thousands more. There’s literally an ongoing illegal war of aggression, started unprompted by trump, continued by trump, where trump’s army has bombed a girl’s elementary school with hundreds of deaths, and has killed a lot more children since. He is obviously a child murderer, in plain sight, nobody in his admin is denying or even questioning that part. There is no need for any blackmail lists which had years to ruminate and be redacted/edited in the bowels of the FBI, his child murder spree is documented in every major news outlet for the last year.

I feel like the main reason people are fixated on the epstein files is because those children were mostly “western” (americans or trafficked from europe). Which in some twisted way might make sense, as I’d think his supporters would be racist and care more about american children being abused and killed than about brown kids on the other side of the world. But, like, at this point I’m not sure that a significant percentage of his base would care if he personally abused their daughters.

I’m gonna just stop you right there, ml guy, and tell you bluntly that you lost me for good in the first sentence.

Don’t try to get it back. You and I will never find common ground on this.

Walk away. I know I am.

The strategy has been attributed to U.S. President Donald Trump’s former chief political strategist Steve Bannon.[4][5][6]

The strategy came to public light after Bannon told Michael Lewis in 2018 that “The Democrats don’t matter… The real opposition is the media. And the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with shit”.[7] Trump adopted the strategy during the 2016 presidential election,[3][8] followed by other right-wing political figures such as Éric Zemmour and Elon Musk.[9][10][1][11]

That article should really reference the dead cat strategy. It’s not the same thing exactly, but it’s close. I don’t think that Bannon likely deserves credit for originating the idea.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_cat_strategy

The dead cat strategy, also known as deadcatting, is the political strategy of deliberately making a shocking announcement to divert media attention away from problems or failures in other areas.[1][2] The term is popularly associated with political strategist Lynton Crosby’s work on the successful London mayoral campaigns of Boris Johnson.

In 2013, while he was mayor of London, Boris Johnson wrote a column for The Telegraph in which he described a political manoeuvre known as “throwing a dead cat on the table”:

To understand what has happened in Europe in the last week, we must borrow from the rich and fruity vocabulary of Australian political analysis. Let us suppose you are losing an argument. The facts are overwhelmingly against you, and the more people focus on the reality the worse it is for you and your case. Your best bet in these circumstances is to perform a manoeuvre that a great campaigner describes as “throwing a dead cat on the table, mate”.

That is because there is one thing that is absolutely certain about throwing a dead cat on the dining room table – and I don’t mean that people will be outraged, alarmed, disgusted. That is true, but irrelevant. The key point, says my Australian friend, is that everyone will shout “Jeez, mate, there’s a dead cat on the table!”; in other words they will be talking about the dead cat, the thing you want them to talk about, and they will not be talking about the issue that has been causing you so much grief.[3]

Exactly. As someone from Canada, I was kinda relieved when the Iran war started. It’s beginning meant that the probability of military action against Canada and Greenland would go down. Of course, I’m not “happy” that the war started and that civilians were murdered because of it… I’m just… relieved that the probability of us suffering the same fate went down.

So yeah… The more distracted that jackass is, the better it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know, I know, he’s fucking with us. But I just can’t help marvel at how dumb this one is. Lake America, okay this is all America, but I guess that’s a name a lake could have, in America.

But New America? New America is in fucking America. That would be like if New York was a small part of York! Call it New West or Taco Supreme or something, but New America is basically the stupidest thing to call a region of North America. It even shortens to NA! Jesus…

Anyway, I know it’s meant to be stupid, I know. But it got me this time…
