Not understanding the difference between a test of intelligence and a test of mental competency should result in an immediate failure of the mental competence test.

    The video in question:

    https://youtu.be/7_5JxlaUl9M?t=60

If you’re dumber than Trump and couldn’t follow along, the answer is -1.285714285714286. You dumb ass. (Even the crowd is giggling at the absurdity.)

And yes, he most literally brags about getting “giraffe” right. He’s also bragging about getting a dementia test right. They don’t give those multiple times unless they’re tracking decline.

Every seen the test? Try it yourself!

I like when he does the “remember 5 words” part from the dementia test it’s always things he can see right in front of him and are thematically related. First was “person woman man camera tv”, with the first 3 being words for humans standing around him and the latter 2 being electronics set around him. The recent one was “hat hair logo white black” with every one of them being stuff he could see on people’s heads (and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was all from one person).

I bet if he said 5 words with no thematic connection like “corn hammer green desk rope” he wouldn’t even be able to repeat them 3 seconds later.

His stump speeches are riddled with these types of things. It’s a phrase or idea that got a lot of attention once, even negative attention. He then workshops it as best as possible and adds it to the list of things he can babble on about. He’s not able to talk about deeper issues though, because he has no plan on how to address them.

He’s still complaining about Biden for example.

I won on groceries. Very simple word, groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time, and I won an election based on that. We’re going to bring those prices way down.

Americans are so fucking weird about IQ. Yes, some brains function better than others. Whoop-de-doo. Case in point, Trump and cows and shit.

not even better; just differently… EQ is another component of overall intelligence and there are plenty that we don’t apply standardised scores to

My IQ is clearly higher than my wife’s while her EQ blows me out the water. Guess which person is the most successful human being, by any metric other than IQ. I’ll give ya three guesses, but you’re only gonna need one.

Terrance Tao is smarter than I am but he is not better in some absolute sense, so you don’t need to deny that he’s smarter on my behalf. Instead, here are some unquantifiable things that do make people meaningfully “better:” kindness, passion, empathy, courage, honesty, wisdom.

Honesty bids me to acknowledge that Tao is smart, and wisdom that it doesn’t matter (re, the meaning of life). Lastly, standardized test scores don’t measure EQ because it’s hard to quantify and irrelevant for college placement.
