      Here’s my best try

No contact is a term usually used by people who are not speaking to, or contacting in any way, someone who was once in their lives. Sometimes abusive parents, ex partners, or siblings. They go “no contact” by blocking them everywhere and avoiding them completely.

Sometimes, this gets broken. Either the “no contact” person breaks that boundary and forces contact or maybe a second chance is given.

This post is acting like we know they’ve gone “no contact” with their boss from work and should support them like we would a person whose abusive parent showed up out of nowhere.

Some work places have a bosses should not contact employees outside of regular work hours policy.

I assume that this is a case of the boss not respecting the employees personal time.

I genuinely think i_need_your_bones is right on this one.

This doesn’t seem like a serious tweet, it seems like a joke.

They are effectively saying “I really want to have zero-contact with my boss but my boss keeps ruining it by talking to me”

It’s a joke that they either hate their boss, or they would like to just slack off at work and not do any work - and so they never talk to the boss on purpose but the boss keeps talking to them.
