    Whether you like the numbers or don’t, polls provide valuable information that only fools would ignore.

    Anyone who is deciding to not vote because of what polls say don’t understand how they work.

      and the narrative is just plain false. the polls for the previous election were accurate with 1 point difference.

      they’re also why Biden dropped out. if the party didn’t have strong polling numbers that indicate Biden will almost definitely lose they would never be able to convince him to drop out.

      that doesn’t mean you should feel comfortable and not vote; as you said that’s not how polls work, but more importantly Harris is neck-and-neck so there’s no reason to feel comfortable to begin with.
