Dr. Lisa Anderson, 58, was born in Pennsylvania and is a U.S. citizen.

A doctor born in the United States says she received an email from federal immigration authorities demanding that she leave the country immediately.

Lisa Anderson, a physician from Cromwell, Connecticut, told NBC Connecticut on Wednesday that she recently received a letter from the Department of Homeland Security telling her, “It is time for you to leave the United States."

Immigration authorities have been pushing noncitizens to leave of their own volition, or “self-deport,” as the number of deportations remains at similar levels to last year.

You are an army of puppies against a military of trained, better equipped than you will ever be, killers.

I just want you to understand the wall you’re climbing before you start acting.

Open military style warfare is not your friend. Guerilla tactics will serve you so well against the organized military. Look to your war history as well as the 2022 citizen resistance efforts in Ukraine for inspiration. But not your military.

Something tells me a war here would go very differently. Who knows, maybe you’re right - I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that the most well armed civvies won’t be fighting against the govt though. If you get my meaning.

You’re comparing populations hardened by war, young men who have known nothing but violence and civil war with Weekend Warrior Proud Boys and the 101st Hoverround Brigade? You are delusional.

Our best chance is honestly to have the rule of law break down and just fend for ourselves honestly.

That way I can keep shooting when brownshirts come knocking, and my neighbors can too.

We’re in the age of drones and AI. They won’t be brownshirts, they’ll be drone swarms - and you won’t even know that they’re looking at you.

Rule of law breaking down = AI drone swarms. If you think that anything good comes from a neofeudalistic hellscape with armed drones - I have a bridge to sell you. Your only hope is your fellow man.

Really? Pretty sure China has turned the military on its people more than once, it’s still very much a standing military.

A curious example. Militaries fight enemies of the state. When the people are the enemy of the state, you are not dealing with a military or a government. It’s warlords, despots, gangsters, brigands and bandits.

They can dress themselves up in the language and carefully curated selection of traditions, but its still a primitive system. Might makes right is suitable for lower primates. Civilized nations can do better when you don’t let the lower apes in power

I don’t disagree - by your example, however ; militaries are inherently primitive. How does a primitive action from a primitive system add up as anything other than causality in action?

Why did we bother inventing anything? We could exterminate the species with rocks bashed on heads, yet here we are. There are better ways that are not doomed to primitivity.

Again, I don’t disagree with you.

What I’m saying is that the military exists. It is a, by your definition, primitive thing - despite being incredibly advanced and well equipped. If they’re technologically advanced cavemen - what do you think those well equipped cavemen will do?

We could be polishing equipment on Europa, today if every human being on Earth worked together without looking down on one another. Or not even necessarily looking down on, resenting each other - for one reason or another. But we do. You probably resent every member of MAGA for their decisions, and rightfully so - but in doing so you’d be perpetuating the very problem you’re passionate about solving. Even with justification, which you absolutely have. I resent them too - I need you to understand this.

Let’s not confuse attackers and defenders. Recall my previous point of the difference between real governments amd militaries vs despots, gangsters, brigands and raiders. They are not the same.

And yet with half a billion civilian owned guns couldn’t stop one South African and a bunch of Red-Pilled Xennials from dismantling the federal government in three months.
