I made my own list of non-American browsers recently when trying to switch from Brave. It gets a bit murky with open-source projects that have global contributors (and sometimes anonymous creators) but here it is:

Cromite, Ungoogled Chromium, Vivaldi

Floorp, Waterfox, Librewolf, Zen

how about adding StartPage for a searchengine, StartMail for email, Cwtch for instant messaging

all are excellent and state of the art open-source with GDPR-compliance from Europe.

I have extremrly critical support for this.

Supporting the UK and Germany is supporting Israël.

But if it helps weaken the USA, some beneficial outcomes will accrue.

Moving to free alternatives is the best, even if they’re USA-linked.

Ah yes the EU, famously made up of nations that never did multiple genocides.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism.
