    Isn’t this a peaceful protest by californian standards?

    Why are these people rioters and californians peaceful protestors?

    In both cases property is damaged (e.g. cars set on fire).

      Torching cars of migrant families and forcing them to flee there home is very different from torching cars used for police surveillance.

      No, property damage isn’t all equivalent. Burning people’s homes and livelihoods is completely different than stopping fascists from taking over the country.
