Minor correction - the bill passed today increases it’s overall operating budget by $175B to over $200B total. ICE will become the third most funded armed forces in the world just behind China. $45B is earmarked for camps.
There’s about 10M undocumented immigrants in the u.s. This is about $20k each. They’re not just going after immigrants.

Punishment in an afterlife always seemed like a petty human idea to me. Better for people to gain true understanding of why what they did was wrong and how it hurt others. Supernatural abilities are available, and the system set up is to just punish people? Very small-minded.

Being trapped by a job does not sound like a life of comfort. Leaving my job would mean being flat broke in two weeks and then starving. If you work paycheck to paycheck, you literally cannot afford to risk your lifestyle to resist.
It’s possible to organize with people that have the means to help those dedicated to the cause, you don’t have to just give up everything and be alone.
I would love to have access to such an organization. Unfortunately, they don’t advertise, if they exist, and I’m too poor to found one.

- find local communities and get involved to make connections, this is essential, as resisting alone without a community makes you much less effective, and easier to suppress. Any real resistance requires community.
- We can effect things drastically with a general strike. This targets the establishment’s income streams, and can bring a fascist government to its knees if done on a large enough scale.
- Contact a union and attempt to unionize your workplace so that the general strike is even more effective (plus, ya know, better pay and working conditions as a bonus!)
This method would not only work in the US, but anywhere in the world.
