I’m not defending him, but all the articles saying he forgot he’s the one who appointed him and only giving that quote are disingenuous. The full quote is: “He’s a terrible Fed chair. I was surprised he was appointed. I was surprised, frankly, that Biden put him in and extended him. But they did.” It still doesn’t make sense anyway.
