I just recently got temp banned for .ml again for saying I didn’t like Stalin because of the purges and gulags and cult of personality dictatorship, so make of that what you will. Either that or just using the word tankie is treated as hate speech because it was the infamous “Reason: Rule 1” with no further context. I was actually having an enjoyable and possibly productive conversation about communist theory too, but apparently that’s not allowed.
How do you guys get so many negative interactions? I’ve been on Lemmy for more than a year and I haven’t blocked any community, instance or user. It’s still enjoyable. I see the occasional Russia / China shill who gets downvoted to hell and that’s it.
