Independent MP Jeremy Corbyn has called for the British government to investigate reports that the former UK prime minister, David Cameron, threatened the International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor Karim Khan.

Middle East Eye reported in June that on 23 April 2024, then-British foreign secretary Cameron privately threatened Khan that the UK would defund and withdraw from the ICC if it issued warrants for Israeli leaders.

Earlier this month, French newspaper Le Monde also reported that Cameron threatened the prosecutor with Britain’s withdrawal from the ICC.

I think he took that back and apologised in a recent Novara interview.

The Greens have good policies, he seems to be getting through to people and it sounds like they are up for a leftwing collaboration, which increases the value of a vote for either them or the new Corbyn party.

The Greens are comrades and puritanical bickering within the left is exactly what the capitalist establishment and the rightwing wants to keep us away from power. Don’t give it to them.

Corbin showed his true colours during the Brexit referendum. He could have provided not alternative viewpoint but he didn’t because he decided that leaving the European Union fitted with his ultra-nationalist viewpoint.

He can stick a red hawk poker up his ass. If we had any credible politicians in this country he wouldn’t have a chance. I don’t trust him. I wish there was a party that I could vote for that did not involve him

Please point out the part where I am wrong. He is an ultra nationalist and not in a good way, he let lies from the conservatives go by without challenge because he thinks leaving the EU was a good idea. He let the country devastate its own economy.

When someone asks a question generally the onus is on you to defend your position, not the other way around.

Corbyn is a socialist, he thinks leaving the EU was a good idea because the EU is a neo-liberal capitalist market which entrenches capitalism in Europe and blocks socialist policy.

I voted to stay in the EU but from a purely theoretical perspective I can understand Corbyn’s reasoning.

He didn’t want to leave the EU for opportunism dressed as national bravado (Boris), for disaster capitalism (Rees-Mogg), or for ultra-nationalist racism and bigotry (Farage).

You can disagree with his position but at least understand why you disagree with it before getting hot under the collar.

I disagree with virtually every position he holds other than the broad strokes. He claims to be liberal but has pretty strong ties with Russian and Serbian nationalists, which doesn’t track.

It’s reality what are you talking about he literally stood by and did nothing while we were lied to about Brexit. He offered zero counter arguement because he actually agreed with leaving the EU he thought it was a good idea which shows how much of a bad politician he is.
