    Everyone deserves some pity. If you don’t think so then you really aren’t a good person either.

      Some people deserve nothing but justice. Also, pity is patronising. If that makes you think I’m not a good person, you can add your name to the long list of people who can bite my crank. Some people are incurable wrong 'uns. It’s a shame the world is this way, but that’s how it is.

      I don’t know much about Peterson’s current state, so I won’t say if he’s one of the write-offs.

        This is why I was glad that Kirk was the victim of the political violence he championed rather than some innocent bystander.

      It’s the exception that proves the rule so there are a couple people who should remain without pity but Peterson isn’t the one in my book.

      We can pity him and be glad he’s dying at the same time. He will be burned away in Sheol, and if any good is left in him when the sin is cleansed, he may find his way to Heaven.
