depression, anxiety, ADHD, and many disorders are effectively treated by just letting people exist while doing basic labor

And you got your PhD where? How many years of study did it take you to figure out this sweeping solution for all these conditions?
You haven’t a clue making your little gulag for “special” people.
I’ve had store bought Turkish Delight.
It was awful.
Same for the stuff in those gift basket dried fruit arrangements. Horrible. Even chocolate assortment boxes might have some. Just as horrible. Always left uneaten if you figure out which one it was.
I took it upon myself to make some at home, rose flavor. No nuts or anything, just the candy part.
It was lovely. Light flowery rose smell, sweet, soft chew, with a confectioner’s sugar coating. Awesome with a good black tea. Do recommend 100%. If that is what Edmund had I’d understand.
I have no idea why the store-bought stuff is vile.
Dunno. I kinda think this is ok. They’re not cutting their lives short per se, it’s seems like a situation where they know their (or one individual’s) quality of life is going to be bad, so they’re doing a mutual suicide. Grown adults should have this choice. I think the only bad thing would be if one partner were reasonably healthy and felt obligated or pressured into it even if they didn’t really want to.
If you don’t mind my asking, how do you deal with the ticking? I understand it can be very audible internally, and for some recipients can be incredibly difficult to deal with. I have a friend who has one too, and he says he doesn’t even notice it at all anymore. His brain tunes it out unless he thinks about it.
I can’t find the statistic any more, but it was something like 80% of people who are kidnapped and are taken in the kidnapper’s car are killed. Like this kid’s situation, fight, scream, do everything possible to not be taken.
Got a beaded curtain in the doorway, too?
And houses were smaller. And electricity cheaper.
Except skip soda.
Do they claim marxism? Because communism can take other forms like State and Leninist. Nobody does marxist communism, there’a always some cult of personality, dictatorship, or tyrant at the helm and the people get lip service and the worst aspects of social policy designed to extract wealth and power. Instead of multiple corporation trying to control you and having to play nice to keep you vs the other guys, the State becomes the rotten corporation beholden to nobody and only has to offer enough service to keep everyone from revolting while holding them essentially hostage.
It’s easier to be kind and let things go that don’t work out than it is to be an asshole with sociopathic tendencies that everyone remembers.
It’s an addiction. No other way to describe it. Like your coke dealer ran out so you gotta switch to crack instead.
No, go out of their way to sign up with foreign payment agencies.
I like it.
May I suggest a “none” option for base/eyes/mouth too?

I miss when phones weren’t all black obelisks. I mean, the features today are incredible and far surpass anything available 20 years ago, but the variety of tactile features and colors was incredible back then.
Eh, this was years ago we played this game. We tried to keep it on the DL by not changing immediately after the discount, usually several months later. We also had separate checking accounts and cards, so that probably helped. The policy may have updated since then, but I don’t see how they’d know if one person canceled the policy and another with an entirely different name and payment account opened a new one.
UnitedHealth CEO says U.S. health system ‘needs to function better’
UnitedHealth CEO says U.S. health system needs to bend in such a way that UHC makes more money by the government making sure they get more money and that it’s everyone else’s fault the HC system sucks because they need to make more money. Everything will be better when they make more money.
Well played, then.
What a monster. Yeah, I definitely don’t miss the old days of the cellular companies vying to offer consumers the least shitty rates and constantly manipulating plans.
Cool. Similar to my friend. Good luck, glad the tech could keep you going!
