Though there are a lot of games with the same themes and openness, I have never found anything that really fills the feeling quite the same as a Bethesda game. Save one: Deus Ex. The original one.

If you have weird issues with fps/resolution with a Quest over steam link or any PCVR stuff, make sure it’s using the correct API for Steam (like alvr or Steam’s own thing) and not the meta one.

It’s a problem that could have been solved simply by the digitzation of the controls. Turning off the car could easily reset the volume back to a default value if they built them that way.

The gripe with early CGI was that it didn’t look great. It was very easy to distinguish between CGI and real effects, and did not necessarily make for a coherent visual experience.

The gripe with AI is that it has no soul, steals from others, and is accelerating the death of the planet as well as the divide between the rich and powerful and everyone else.

The two do not really compare.
