Pretty nice, but since my instance follows everything from instances.joinpeertube.org automatically, I can’t recommend that anyone “trust” my instance.
PeerTube’s biggest weakness is not decentralization, but fragmentation imho.

How would that work in practice though? Should the voices be scrambled or something and not all interviews are done online. If there’s an asshole who disregards a person because of their name or gender, then it will just happen at the interview, instead of during the resume.
Better having more people like Maya speak up and have more women game developers out there, showing they exist. It’s really about inspiring women to become game developers. But if you don’t see them, how can it inspire anyone?
With that said, I’m pretty sure the statistics are upward going.

Mastodon nor Lemmy restrict your use of Tor or VPN. Maybe an instance does, but hardly every instance. Just find an instance that doesn’t restrict your use.
I love this movie and the songs are song by a Danish legend in the Danish version. Still watch this movie, just with my kids now 😁

3·8 days agoI used rsync to move all the files to another drive, but it seems the “sync” part didn’t do a good job.
Edit: It’s fixed now. Found the missing video files.
Not sure what happened here, but the actual video file seems to be missing. I think Josh/Triple Irish can fix it by “replacing” the video with the same video file he uploaded originally.
2·10 days agoYou mean publicly made comments? If if all servers honoured the delete request, there’s no guarantee that the comments are not saved somewhere else.
Data like IP, email etc. is deleted.
Yes, all data on your account can be deleted, by deleting your account.
PeerTube.wtf. I haven’t come across things that were awful. Only some porn. I have blocked 11 instances in the last year.
