Craving a cup noodle randomly right now. Either chicken, oriental, or curry flavour. But they don’t agree with me.
I looked out before while it was still light and there were heaps of nasturtium flowers out. Most are red-orange but there’s one single yellow flower in another pot.
It’s been a great gardening day. I’ve gotten lots of planting done, some in punnets and some in the ground. Miss Meow even came outside to hang out with me for a while as I worked, it was very pleasant.

One thing I’ve heard at this job that I’ve never had before is ‘we have budget and we need to spend it’. I’m used to working with nothing and being told no to everything. I’m trying to not get too carried away with the possibilities but it’s nice to think I’m at a job where I can actually do new and different things rather than just trying to keep things running as is.
One of the directors at my place goes “if I’m walking away feeling like I fucked someone over in a deal, then I’ve done the wrong thing”

I’ve been catching up on podcasts a lot recently. One of my favourites stopped and with a regular job now I’ve actually been getting through them. I stopped listening to some ‘less timely’ podcasts when covid hit and stuck to ones related to the news cycle. I’ve added Comedy Bang Bang and The Best Show back into rotation, I might add some more as well. Plus, there’s always the option of listening to more music.
I have been doing careful listenings to Project Hail Mary to get a handle on the science. I’m nearly there tho it’s been a while since I studied non newtonian physics.
